Running Clinics

Running YoginiRunning Yogini brings a shift in attitude and a new perspective on training allowing longevity in running and opportunity for runners to exceed their goals.

Private Running Clinics

Put together a group of your friends or colleagues (4-8 participants) and have your own private running clinic. If you are an individual we’ll find a group that will welcome you. Cover the following topics with a certified running coach to start you on the path to achieving your running goals but at less cost than individual coaching:

3 sessions, 2 hours each session – $115/person

session 1: running form and breathing patterns – a certified running coach will discuss running form and breathing patterns; exercises will be taught to strengthen the muscles used with correct running form; breathing patterns will be incorporated into running to monitor training outcomes; includes individual evaluation for each participant.

session 2: yoga series and revisit form and breathing – learn an incremental yoga series modified for each ability level to strengthen and lengthen your muscles; individual evaluation to moderate progress with running form and breathing.

session 3: training schedules and programs; nutrition and proper fueling– learn how to develop your own training program; learn proper fueling for performance and recovery; answer any final questions on running form, breathing and yoga.

Scheduling done on 3 different days, 1-2 weeks apart, to give participants time to practice what they’ve learned and to be re-evaluated at the next session to be sure new techniques are being implemented correctly.

Running Clinic locations will be decided upon after conferring with the group contact person. Locations currently available in Denver at Harmony Yoga ( Holly and Leetsdale) and David T. Garland, Sr Park; and in Parker at Creekside Recreation Center (J Morgan Blvd and Nate’ Dr) and Stroh Park.  Other options can be discussed if you have an alternative space for your group.

Running and Yoga Retreats

The above topics are covered in an intensive running and yoga retreat.  Put together your group of running buddies and play together and stay together for 2-3 days of running and yoga instruction combined with delicious food and an enjoyable location.  Have your ring leader call 303-963-5993 or email angela@runningyogini.com to discuss the details for this unique event.
